Textbook Affordability Program

This guide discusses the Textbook Affordability Program at the IU Kokomo Library.

TAWG

What is TAWG?

TAWG is an acronym for Textbook Affordability Working Group. This group comprises of one faculty member from each school at IU Kokomo and faculty librarians.

The purpose of TAWG is to make textbooks more affordable for students. We are able to do this work by looking at required course textbooks and seeing what we can purchase through our approved vendor. We do our best to get as many titles as possible, but not all publications have an unlimited user access DRM-free license because that is determined by the publisher.
