If the item is available in IUCAT, use Request Delivery:
The Indiana University Libraries are considered one of the top research library systems in the United States. There are over 50 libraries in the IU Libraries system, including the IU Kokomo Library. Many of the resources you will need for your courses are easily found at the IU Kokomo Library or through the Indiana University Libraries.
First check to see if the item you want is available through any IU library by following these steps:
- STEP 1Check IUCAT to see if any IU library owns the item you are seeking. Log in to IUCAT prior to performing search.
- STEP 2Conduct an IUCAT search for the item you are seeking.
- STEP 3Click on the red Request This button on the right side of the screen.
- STEP 4Select a pickup library from the drop-down menu. (If you haven't logged in to IUCAT you will be prompted to do so.)
- STEP 5Click on the Request Delivery button. Your request has been placed. A confirmation message will appear on the screen. Your item(s) will likely arrive at your pickup location within 4-7 days. You will receive an email notification when your item(s) is ready for pickup.
Tipasa
Use Tipasa to obtain all types of resources not available using Request Delivery, from libraries worldwide.

Obtaining Your Item(s) via Request Delivery or Tipasa
You will receive an email notification when your requested item(s) is available for pickup at the IU Kokomo Library Circulation Desk. You will need your Crimson card to borrow materials. Please note that the lending period is determined by the lending library, and all materials are subject to recall at any time.
Photocopies of articles ordered via Tipasa will be delivered electronically via the Tipasa system.
