Indiana Memory provides access to a wealth of unique primary sources on Indiana's history and culture. It includes digitized books, manuscripts, photographs, newspapers, maps, and other media. This database is the result of a collaborative effort between Indiana libraries, archives, museums, and other cultural institutions.
Since 1913, the IMH has been edited and published quarterly at Indiana University, Bloomington. This digital collection aims to present a diverse and robust collection of print journalism from Indigenous peoples of the U.S. and Canada. Representing a huge variety in style, production, and audience, the newspapers include national periodicals as well as local community news and student publications. Forty-five unique titles also include bilingual and Indigenous-language editions, such as Hawaiian, Cherokee, and Navajo languages.
